A Small Orange is not your average web hosting company. We don’t believe in offering you “unlimited plans” that actually require costly upgrades in order to meet your expectations and requirements. We believe that you should only pay for the resources that you need, period.
Our highly-trained support staff are ready to assist you with all manner of issues related to your hosting experience. We are a knowledgeable and insightful bunch, excited to resolve any issue or answer any questions that you may have. Ask us about additional services that may compliment your current hosting solution, or let us assist you with seamlessly upgrading your current plan. No issue is too big, or too small; we are here to help!
At ASO, we're passionate about delivering solid customer service and making sure our employees have the desire to grow along with us... on the job, and in their personal life. We know that things move ridiculously fast in the web hosting world, and we want to make sure our people are ready for whatever exciting changes the future may bring.
Founded in Atlanta in 2003 on principles of delivering powerful hosting and the best possible customer service and support, A Small Orange has grown to serve tens of thousands of customers around the world. As we've grown, we've proudly stayed true to our initial aim.
Much like your actual domain name in a virtual sense, the physical geography of your hosting server is critically important to the overall performance of your website. In order to provide the best possible speed, reliability, and connectivity for our customers, ASO maintains servers in two distinct US-based data centers, located in Dallas, Texas, and Dearborn, Michigan.
You'll also be providing awesome service to great customers for a fast growing, forward thinking company!
Here at A Small Orange, we are committed to limiting our environmental impact while speeding up development of a more sustainable, low-carbon, renewable energy economy. What does this mean to our customers? They can rest easy knowing that for every kilowatt hour of electricity used to host their website, an additional one and one-half kilowatt hours of electricity is generated by wind power and delivered to the power grid. We know that our data centers use a lot of electricity, and we have promised to match 150 percent of the electricity we use with renewable energy, or Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs). It’s a big commitment, but we know it’s worth it.
Our commitment last year was estimated to have sequestered carbon from 1,140 acres of U.S. forests or removed 293 vehicles from the road.
We love what we do, and it shows. Besides our ongoing and comprehensive training, A Small Orange employees are consistently encouraged to explore new projects and find ways to improve the customer experience.
People are at the center of everything we do. This includes our employees, our customers, and our communities. It’s that simple.
In today’s world, 24/7 availability in the web hosting industry simply isn’t enough. You can depend on ASO to be here in five years, ten years and beyond, with the same customer service you’ve come to expect and deserve.
We understand and value the trust that our customers invest in us. That’s why we believe integrity is crucial to our growth, as individuals and as a company. We will act with integrity when things are going well, and also when something unexpected happens.
We love our customers. We're not here to blindly upsell you with a solution that doesn’t make sense for your specific circumstance. You can expect friendly, helpful service every time you contact us.
We stand by our quality and our commitment to customer service. As a new customer, we welcome you try any one of our Shared, Business, Reseller, or VPS plans for a full 90 days. Should you decide to cancel your account within this initial 90 days for any reason, we will gladly provide you with a refund.
